Most expensive Vehicle registration number plate was auctioned by Excise Department.

Federal Excise and Taxation Department recently auctioned New series of unique and exclusive number plates.
Due to high demand of these unique numbers auction is held every year at excise taxation department office.
Here is the detail of worth of registration Number which were auctioned this year.
During this year auctioned Reg. Numbers, the highest bid for Reg. Number “1” was worth of 0.71 million.

  • Number “1” was sold for Rs. 0.71 million.
  • Winning bid for number “5” went for Rs. 0.29 million.
  • Plate number “786” was auctioned for Rs. 0.23 million.
  • Number “3” went for Rs. 0.21 million.
  • Number “7” was sold for Rs. 0.19 million.
  • Plate titled “4” was auctioned at Rs. 0.18 million.
  • Plate number “8” was auctioned for Rs. 0. 165 million.
  • Number “2” was auctioned at Rs. 0.12 million.
  • Winning bid for number “6” stood at Rs. Rs. 0.13 million.
  • Number “10” was won by bidder for Rs. 0.13 million. 
Faisalabad Vehicle & motor registration authority will auction registration number tomorrow having only numeric digits of “17”.

Govt revises fuel prices for next two weeks, petrol hikes by Rs1.77 per litre

Prices of petrol is increased by Rs.1.77 and hi-speed diesel by Rs.2.00. However, Kerosene oil and light diesel will remain constant. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar addressed a press conference in Islamabad, saying that the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene will remain intact, beginning tomorrow till Jan 31. He said the price of petrol will be increased by Rs1.77 per litre and high-speed diesel oil will be increased by Rs2 per litre. Dar aslo said that the government treasury will bear the burden of Rs2.75 billion as a subsidy for this period on petroleum products. The minister also informed that the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel oil have been increased due to a 43 per cent increase in the prices of crude oil and petroleum products in the global market.
