Hafeez have to wear Captain's Hat of Pakistan Team

Hafeez have to handle Pakistani team for next ODI against Australia, which is to be played in Melbourne.

 

International Desk, M. Hafeez Ex. ODI captain is made as acting captain for Pakistan i Team which is to be played in Melbourne. Which is announced by Pakistan Cricket Board on Saturday.
Azhar Ali is dropped after their hamstring injury in last ODI in Sydney, which Pakistan lost by 92 runs.
Azhar has been prescribed rest for next 2-Matche by Doctors. However it is expected that Azhar will be available in next 4th & 5th ODIs.
It was expected that Pakistan's Vice-Captain Sarfaraz Ahmad would stand-in as acting captain of Pakistan Team, but he was dropped from team so that he could attend his ailing Mother.

Govt revises fuel prices for next two weeks, petrol hikes by Rs1.77 per litre

Prices of petrol is increased by Rs.1.77 and hi-speed diesel by Rs.2.00. However, Kerosene oil and light diesel will remain constant. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar addressed a press conference in Islamabad, saying that the prices of light diesel oil and kerosene will remain intact, beginning tomorrow till Jan 31. He said the price of petrol will be increased by Rs1.77 per litre and high-speed diesel oil will be increased by Rs2 per litre. Dar aslo said that the government treasury will bear the burden of Rs2.75 billion as a subsidy for this period on petroleum products. The minister also informed that the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel oil have been increased due to a 43 per cent increase in the prices of crude oil and petroleum products in the global market.
